New movies are popping up every day on streaming platforms, from big blockbusters to small independents. Keeping track of them all can be daunting, especially if you’re not a film buff or are unfamiliar with the various platforms. So, to help you make sense of the massive list of 2022 movie releases, we’ve put together a handy guide on how to watch these new movies for free or on demand, and where to find them.
If you’re looking for a way to get a little bit of escapism in your life, then look ดูหนังใหม่ no further than Jordan Peele’s ape-centric, gory sci-fi horror thriller Okja. The Parasite filmmaker’s latest follows a South Korean girl whose pig-like pet (voiced by Tilda Swinton) is targeted by an evil meat corporation.
One of the best things about this new movie is that it’s only a two-hour film. It also has a great cast, including Daniel Kaluuya and Keke Palmer.
Besides being fun and unsettling, Okja is also a great way to learn more about the exploitation of animals. It’s part cheeky dark comedy, but it also has a disturbing close-up of the meat industry that’s likely to hit you in the face.
There are many ways to watch new movies on the Internet, but here are a few that we like the most:
MoviesJoy
This free video site features a huge selection of new and popular films and shows from all over the world. They’re all rated by real viewers and you can watch them on your computer, mobile device or any TV with an Internet connection. You don’t need to sign up for a free account, but it does place ads on its site, so an ad-blocker is recommended.
Netflix
There’s a lot of great new movies on Netflix, and most are available for free, with the exception of some big blockbusters. Here are a few of the ones we recommend you watch:
Da 5 Bloods
Spike Lee’s engrossing war drama features a group of Black soldiers who are sent to a Northern German town in the middle of World War II to help the occupying Nazis find buried treasure. It’s a gritty, violent, and often hilarious story that doesn’t hold back when it comes to its depiction of racism in wartime.
The Return of Pete Mitchell
Tom Cruise gets back into the pilot’s seat for this long-awaited sequel, re-teaming with his 1986 original for an action-packed, over-the-top reunion that’s reminiscent of Top Gun in more ways than one. But, unlike that 1980s romp, this time we get more than just some fun airplane stunts: there’s also a rousing love story, dance battles and over-the-top spirit.
Mortal Kombat: The Fate of the Furious
We’re all familiar with the classic video game series and its subsequent films, but director Hiroyuki Sanada takes a modern spin on the story in this anime adventure. It’s a lot more serious than the first instalment, but there are plenty of moments of pure awesomeness to keep you entertained and on the edge of your seat.
