On the Home-Front
At home, millions of volunteers provided comfort and aid to
members of the armed forces and their families, served in
hospitals suffering from severe shortages of medical staff,
produced emergency supplies for war victims, collected
scrap, ran victory gardens, and maintained training programs
in home nutrition, first aid, and water safety. |

We invite you to join us as a
sponsor of the 2008 Red Cross Remembers: WWII to
help ensure there is adequate funding to meet all of our local
disaster and preparedness needs this year. There has been an
overwhelming outpouring of support for the recent large-scale
tornadoes and flooding disaster response in northeast Iowa. All
of the funds raised during the disaster went directly to help
those in need. In order for our Chapter to continue providing
the quality services our community deserves, fundraising at this
time is more critical than ever. The evening will
include dinner, dancing, live and silent auctions. Vintage
attire is welcomed.
Please
consider one of the following sponsor levels:
Flying Fortress: $5,000
includes two reserved tables with dinner and wine, full page ad
in program, and more
Liberator: $2,500
includes one reserved table with dinner and wine, ½ page program
ad, and more
Mitchell: $1,000
includes one reserved table, dinner buffet and cash bar, ¼ page
program ad, and more
