Red Cross Disaster College to be held in Cedar Rapids and Iowa City

Cedar Rapids, IA - American Red Cross volunteers are trained to respond to disasters day or night, providing refuge from the cold, warm clothing, a hot meal and even a shoulder to cry on. Without these local volunteers, many victims of disasters would have no one to turn to. This is why the Grant Wood Area Chapter is inviting individuals to become trained to respond to local disasters and provide emergency assistance to Eastern Iowans in need.
