When disaster strikes, the results can be devastating.
In the midst of chaos, the American Red Cross offers
hope and comfort to those in need. Local Red Cross
volunteers and staff work with each family affected to
determine their immediate, emergency needs. We helped
start their recovery process with assistance for food,
clothing, and a safe place to stay.
While responding to emergencies at a moment's notice,
Red Cross volunteers also help prepare our community for
future disasters. They give presentations to schools,
businesses, and community groups about prevention,
preparedness, and emergency response. |
